Alien 3:see the Alien Resurrection thread for my reasoning as to why this doesn't suck.
RoboCop 2:Is it as good as the original? Absolutly not. That doesn't mean its bad. See the RoboCop 2 thread for my reasoning as to why it doesn't suck.
Book of Shadows Blair Witch 2:So let me understand this correctly...because the movie had the balls to go in the surprise direction it wanted (surreal mindfuck that semi parodied the original/popularity of the original) and not what was expected of it,it automatically sucks? Thats some grade A logic there...
Undead:Are you kidding me? Sure it takes a nose dive during the third act,but everything else before it was so good that it overshadows that.
Predator 2:Yes its basically an excuse for a Lethal Weapon cast (so what?)...yes bad ass Arnold is replaced with Danny Glover (so what?)...no its not as good as the original...None of this means its bad. Get over yourselves.
Children of the Corn:I'll admit right now, this is one of those movies that you love when you see it at a young age,but then when you are older and wiser and see it again, you realise its really a turd...however,I don't think its the big turd everybody else thinks it is. Maybe its the nostalgia talking...actually no it isn't. It still has some redeeming qualities. If nostalgia was part of it,I would still think Halloween 5 and Friday The 13th 8 were watchable.
Exorcist 3:Ok maybe this movie doesn't get all that much hate...it sure got enough when it was released. Yea I know, the stink of Exorcist 2 killed off any want to see it,but that doesn't mean its bad...in fact,I would say its the ONLY good movie in the entire series (because the original is overrated, mediocre, and scareless)...yes I'm declaring this dispite not having seen Exorcist The Beginning OR Dominion.
Final Destination:I've concluded that people hate this movie because its mainstream and they think its cool to always hate on anything mainstream, cause certainly nobody has provided a good enough reason to hate it.
High (Haute) Tension:You're probably scratching your head on this one and thinking "This movie is already a cult classic, why is this on the list?" Because it seems for every person that loves the movie, theres about 2 or 3 people that hate it because of its twist at the end and how full of plot holes it is. I once sympathised with these people cause I was thrown for a loop the first time I saw the film as well...but now I've concluded these people are morons. Its not a plot hole...go watch The Usual Suspects, get some perspective, and then watch this movie again.
Star Wars Episode 2 Attack of the Clones:Its better than Episode 3...thats right,I said it. If it wasn't for the first 15-20 minutes and the last half hour,Episode 3 wouldn't be much of anything. People complained about the "wooden" acting in Episode 2 when its even worse in 3...not to mention that gaping bad editing induced Obi Wan teleportation plothole in Episode 3. Episode 2 unfocused? How the hell do you figure? To me its the only movie in the prequel trilogy that really FEELS like a Star Wars film.
Jeepers Creepers:I've concluded that people automatically hate this because of Victor Salva and his child molestation shit. Give the movie a chance, its not that bad. I haven't seen 2,but judging from what people say about it,the hate there is warrented.
I'm sure theres some others swimming around in my head that I can't pinpoint so I'll stop there.
